PARAMAARTH GURU PRANAM SANGEET SAMAROH LOK KALA MANCH, NEW DELHI, 09 Se...



Parmarth
Foundation presented a two day cultural, spiritual and musical festival on 9th
and 10th of September at Lok Kala Manch. Spiritual personalities
from various faiths including Brahma Kumaris, Jains, Sanatan Dharma and Sufi
graced the occasion.
Amrutaa
Vibho made a scintillating performance on the opening day on 9th
September on the Drums with a Bollywood hit “Ae Mera Dil Pyar Ka Deewana” and
subsequently improvising Layakari of the Carnatic rhythm patterns on the
western instrument. Being groomed for the Trinity College of Music grade exams
by veteran Drum Maestro Shri Ranjeet Ahuja and Eminent Mridanga Vidvan
Kumbakonam Shri N. Padmanabhan, Amrutaa is the youngest female drummer in India
acclaimed by the Media.
Akshayaa
Vibho presented patriotic songs from the golden hits of Lata Mangeshkar on 10th
September. Akshayaa came out brilliantly singing on the track at a very young
age with “Ae Malik Tere Bande Hum and Ae Mere Watan Ke Logo”. Her rendering
moved the audience with a deep emotional response.


Being
trained by Pandit Sitangshu Chowdhary of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana, Akshayaa
is a child prodigy who has rendered the famous Vivekananda Poem “Kali the
Mother” into a Compact Disc, which was released by the former Minister of State
for Human Resource Development Shri Jitin Prasada.

DKP Awards Felicitation



The 7th DKP Shradhanjali :
The 7th DKP Shradhanjali was celebrated with dignified grandeur at the Aishwarya Mahaganapathy Temple, Keshav Puram, Lawrence Road, Delhi.
Mr. Justice. ( Retd.) K. Ramamoorthy, Retired Judge, Hon'ble High Court, Delhi,  along with Madam Ramamoorthy graced the function as Cheif Guest. Three veteran organisers of the capital -
Shri. N. A. Ramachandran ( Gayathri Fine Arts ),
Shri. N. V. Raman (Thalabhakti)
And
Shri. T. N. Sivaramakrishnan Swamiji (Asthika Samaj) 
were felicitated for their sustained, dedicated and outstanding service to promote music, arts & spirituality.
A team of young musicians paid musical tribute to Late. Smt. D. K. Pattammal.
Bhanumathy Vishwanath,
Disciple of DKP concluded the show with her soulful rendering of a masterpiece of her Guru.

Adi Shankaracharya Musical Discourse





Sankara Digvijaym- musical discourse on the traditional life of Adi Shankaracharya was a grand success with the gracious presence of philosopher king Dr. Karan Singh. he was joined by professor  H.S.Prasad, HOD, department of philosophy, University of Delhi. Bhanumathy was conferred with the "Ramaswamy Memorial Award" for excellence in singing Muthuswamy Dikshitar Kritis by Gayathri Fine Arts through the scholarly persona Dr. Karan Singhh.

The supporting artists comprising of Kumari Akshayaa Vibho on the Keyboard, Shri Delhi Shridhar on the Violin , Kumbakonam Shri. N. Padmanabhan on the Mridungam,  Master P. Adhityanarayanan on the Kanjira,  Shri. N. Harinarayanan on the Ghatam, Wg.Com. Yegnaraman on the Mukharsang  and Kumari Amrutaa Vibho on the Special  Effects did a splendid job.

The 7th Shradhanjali of the Doyen of Indian Classical Music (Carnatic) Padma Vibhushan late Smt. D.K. Pattammal is to be observed at Aishwarya Mahaganpati Temple, Kehsav Puram, Lawrence Road, Delhi.
Lord Ganpati was the Ishtadev of Smt. Pattammal and she always used to have the statue of Lord Ganesha next to her in the Living room at her Kotturpuram residence.

Parmaarth Guru Pranam Music Festival

The Girls are doing it again! This time for the Parmaarth Guru Pranam Music Festival which was originally to be held on the eve of Guru Purnima but was postponed due to the sad demise of former President of India, Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam.

On 9th September we will see the energetic Amrutaa doing a rare Fusion on the drums with a popular Bollywood song and topping it up with Layakari of the Carnatic Rhythm pattern. Amrutaa is nurtured on the drums by Veteran Drum player Shri Ranjeet Ahuja under the overall guidance of International Drum Maestro Sri A. Sivamani. Amrutaa is regularly guided on the Carnatic Rhythm pattern by the famous Mridangam Vidvan Kumbakonam Shri N. Padmanabhan.

On 10th September Parmaarth Foundation will feature Bubbling Akshayaa Vibho, who will render Devotional and Patriotic songs of Bharat Ratna Lata Mangeshkar ji. Akshayaa is undergoing rigorous training in Hindustani Classical Music from Pandit Sitangshu Chowdhary of the Rampur Sahaswan Gharana.
