Musical- Devotional Weekend in the Capital



As part of the movement to revive Bhakti (Devotion) through Namasankirtana, the Asthika Samaj Aishwarya Mahaganpati temple, Keshavpuram, Lawrence Road, Delhi is organising Ayyappa Bhajans from 7 pm onwards by Brahmashree A.R. Subramanian, Gayananda Bhajan Mandali on Saturday, 19th March, 2016. The highlight of the bhajan will be the Mridangam support being provided by the famous Mridangist of the Capital Kumbakonam Shri N. Padmanabhan. All devotees are welcome to the temple for the bhajans, which will be followed by Prasadam.

On 20th March, 2016 (Sunday) Gayathri Fine Arts, Rohini, Delhi is organising a tribute to great Violin Maestros at the India International Centre from 10 am onwards. There will be a violin solo recital by Delhi R. Sridhar with Mridangam support by Kumbakonam Shri N. Padmanabhan.

GFA will also be conferring Bala Sangeeta Nipuna for vocal and instrumental music on Kumari Akshayaa Vibho and Bala Laya Nipuna on Kumari Amrutaa Vibho for Drums among other prizes to be distributed to various talented youngsters including the Tamboora Prize.
